This camp will consist of general running, conditioning and games. Folk Style, Freestyle, and Roman-Greco will be taught. Each day will be broken down into different skills such as neutral footwork, throws, and break-downs from top, spiral ride, getting up from bottom, and other key wrestling skills that are important in becoming a wrestler. This camp will be instructed by George Hiler and Ralph Morris. George Hiler was the head wrestling coach at Crete-Monee high school for six years, a counselor at the University of Dubuque Wrestling camp for six years, and presently the head wrestling coach at Danville high school. Ralph Morris is the head coach for the Lionheart Intense Wrestling Club and coaching for the IKWF for twenty-eight years. Coach Morris is a Folk Style qualifier and State Champion. He wrestled at Danville High school during his younger years for three years and was letterman captain of his team. Other wrestling affiliates will be assisting in this camp.

ORIENTATION NIGHT
We will be hosting a summer camp orientation night on Friday, May 29, from 5:30-7:30pm. This is the perfect opportunity for parents to come out and meet the staff, tour the site, and receive an activity calendar and more detailed information about our summer camp.
