Child Watch Nursery & Fun Club

Child Watch is provided free to members with family memberships. Available only while parents are utilizing the facility. Guests $3 per child per visit.

Days Off

When School’s Out the Y is in!

Day’s Off is the program that makes days out of school worry free for parents and fun for kids. Participants swim everyday, Go on field trips, play games in the gym and make arts and crafts in a safe, controlled environment.

What to bring: swim suit, towel, plastic bag and sack lunch.

A daily snack is provided. Days Off is available from 7 am until 6 pm.

Teen Center

The goal of the YMCA is to provide teens and youth with a safe fun environment during out of school hours, when all the YMCA recreation areas and rooms are in use, particularly during the Youth Basketball season. Teen Center is open to children ages 10-17 years old starting Monday, November 3, 2008. The teen center will close March 19, 2009.

Teen Reach

Teen Reach is an after school program designed for adolescents between the ages of 10 and 17, with supportive services that will help them develop positive expectations for future success and reduce risk taking behaviors. Teen help plan and implement their own program ideas, participating in community service/service learning, field trips, life skills training, and more. Y-Kids

We take very good care of your kids before school, 7-8 am and after school, 2-6 pm.

Activities: Arts and Crafts, We help with homework, play board games. We also play group games that promote team work, and gets kids involved in active play. Some of the YKids sites have activities that involve stories from the bible, we sing songs, and have down discussions about various safety issues. Every evening, the Y-Kids are served a snack.

Y-Kids school site locations: Edison, Liberty, Northeast, Southwest and Garfield schools.

To register your child, contact the YMCA. Register for three or five days per week, for before school after school or both.
